speaker
Joakim Nydemark
CEO, Precise Biometrics

The first thing is the finances. I think we have a very strong quarter. It shows good growth and good business. We have widened the portfolio, the product portfolio, during the quarter. But above all, I would say that we are delivering in our customer growth, which we have won here with our partners during the year. And they have good production.

If you dive into the numbers, you can see that sales during Q3 increased by 29% to 22.8 million. From your point of view, what is driving the sales increase?

speaker
Joakim Nydemark
CEO, Precise Biometrics

We have been working hard to sell new projects to our customers. We continue to go into the figures. EBITDA increases sharply in the quarter and you also show positive movement results.

EBIT, what is behind this?

speaker
Joakim Nydemark
CEO, Precise Biometrics

Sen jobbar vi ständigt med... with our costs, efficiencies, we try to optimize our processes, make sure that we do things and see what types of customers in the growth market and so on. So all in all, I think Spännande.

speaker
Joakim Nydemark
CEO, Precise Biometrics

There is a lot of progress in the digital network as well. We have been incredibly active in sales and marketing during the last period. We have been in the USA on GCX, we have been on QE for a while now. We have been more efficient with marketing campaigns and so on in order to reach the new community group. If you look at the sales, the growth has been at the level that I think it should be.

What trends do you see in so-called biometric access systems, where you use both your fingers and face, but also your hands to open buildings and so on?

speaker
Joakim Nydemark
CEO, Precise Biometrics

I would say, if you talk about the access system in general, I think that it contributes a lot to the user safety situation. And that means that we see changes in that some companies, in a large extent, high-security companies, critical infrastructure, tend to want to go on-prem, on-premises, that is to say that you want have a local system that is disconnected from the network.

So it's harder to hack in that way?

speaker
Joakim Nydemark
CEO, Precise Biometrics

Exactly. So then there is no access. The other thing that matters is that you put greater pressure on the multiple services that are used for this type of service. And then it can be that you want to have among Swedish companies, among other things, you want to have Swedish suppliers and servers to be on Swedish market. So that's another trend we see. And then there's multipack authentication. We have several ways to get access. It can be a combination of cards and biometrics, for example, the face, or a hand and a code. So that's what we're looking for.

You have previously launched hand recognition as a product. Would you like to tell us a little more about that and how it works?

speaker
Joakim Nydemark
CEO, Precise Biometrics

Sure. Heim, or palm as we call it in English, is a modality that completes the face and finger pressure. I think it's important to identify or authenticate a person for different types of use cases. We see this as an incredibly exciting and strong growth area. We see that a lot is happening in this area. installations in stores in the USA, we have in Tunnelbarg in China for example. So it happens a lot in that area and we feel that there is a positive demand for it, which is fun. We have also signed a contract with Crushfish and it is a great opportunity for us where we actually get a a competitive advantage compared to, there are not so many users, there are some competitors out there, but we get a very nice competitive advantage with this software. And it's simply put, Crashfish has developed a technology over many years to detect and track hands, follow the hands that you touch. And by adding that to our technology, you can The faster you know, if you open a door, for example, you come with your hand towards the door or towards the sensor by the door. And the faster you can detect this hand and read it, the better the customer experience. So that's the other thing in this... The next step we have with Crunchfish is that we get access to all cell codes. We also get training data, i.e. databases with a lot of hand images, gigantic hand images that we can use in our continued development and training of our system. So we see that we can use them in other types of products.

speaker
Joakim Nydemark
CEO, Precise Biometrics

It is definitely so.

And new products. Yes, super exciting. A large part of your revenue still comes from the mobile phone market and it has been a bit shaky. Many have reported about it earlier this year. What does the outlook look like there?

speaker
Joakim Nydemark
CEO, Precise Biometrics

Yes, I would say that we still earn over one billion phones per year. We are well positioned there together with our partners, corporate medias and others. We are in the area of specific sensors based on ultralight, which are the types of sensors that are now going to be needed with the newer Google screens, which can't handle the older Google sensors. And then we have our BioLive solution, which also has a lot of demand. So overall, it looks good.

Interesting, and you also mentioned that your software exists in a unit from Google, one of their new phones. Can you tell us a little more about which specific phones, new phones that have your software?

speaker
Joakim Nydemark
CEO, Precise Biometrics

We are constantly asked about which phones or cars that we exist in and it is a bit of the same answer.

I understand. So, in summary, you are still quite happy with the Q3 result. How do you see the outlook, in summary, for Q4 and forward?

speaker
Joakim Nydemark
CEO, Precise Biometrics

I would say that I am very happy and proud of the results we are delivering in Q3. I think there is a lot going our way. With that said, this is just the beginning. We are well positioned. We have a general situation in the world that makes the type of technology that we deliver in demand. You want to see higher security, security. There is a lot of talk about biometrics.
