Hello and welcome to this Q&A in connection with ISEAF Groups quarterly report for the first quarter 2024, which will be released today, April 26th. I warmly welcome the CEO Anders Segerström.
Hello, thank you very
much. How would you like to summarize the first quarter this year?
It has been an intensive start. We started by concluding the mid-days of 2023 by ordering 1000 units to Holland, which we would then start producing. And we started producing with both new hardware, which we have worked with for almost two years, new factory and production partners. So it was an intensive start until February to ensure that the production kept the quality we wanted, with all the tests it took, and also automate tests and also train so that they have the right flow, so that it would be a good production stamp simply to be able to deliver volumes. My tight deadline is that we deliver this in February, at the end of February, to our partner in Holland, who then has subsequently begun to put out the boxes. And it has also been an exciting but challenging thing to get many machines out at the same time on the new market. The biggest challenge there has been mainly that there are many more boxes than we were used to. We also thought that there would be around three or four different dosage types we needed to deliver six doses, and it turned out to be around 40. So it has been a technical challenge and tough. It has also been a challenge to set up customer travel, because our partner in Holland has developed a separate customer travel linked to Dosell, which also needs to be adjusted in order to get it out on the user. It has been tough but educational for both us and our partner, and now we have several machines in progress and these thousands will be activated here and put out here in the near future. And many of them have already come out. So it's a very good start for us, I would say.
So you talk about challenges along the way with the product in Holland. Have you overcome these challenges? Are you at the level of quality you want?
We have the biggest parts, absolutely. Then we have things we want to adjust, but it's more about nice to have than must have. So it's things you can change instead of one step explaining how to charge, then maybe we divide it up into two steps. And it's small things, just to make sure that it's as easy to use as possible, despite minimal training for some in staff, and you put in a little new and so on.
I understand. So in summary, you would say that we are on the track in Holland. Absolutely,
it's an incredible success. There are many factors. It is a partner who has a new customer trip. We have a product that will be released on a completely new market with many dosage boxes. We have patients who are used to another medical robot that is now being released with ours, who also need to be trained. We have staff who previously worked with another medical robot, so then we will have training with ours. And there are many that will be released at the same time. So of course it is a complex challenge, but I would say that we have handled it well together with our partners.
Nice. And last year, Vamdåsell also together with Atea, the treatment in the Västra Götalandsregion. How is the status there now?
There has been a part to get started so that you can sign up, it should be in the bottom and the possibility to sign up. Now it is only about being marketable and getting the information out so that the different parts that can sign up, that is, nurses and doctors can sign up, that they know about it and how to do it. And we have also taken in a person who is leaving the Götalandsregion who will go around and market here, that is the only thing Linda will focus on. So we think we can get a good volume, it is important to get the volume up quickly here, so we aim to get a volume up before the summer, which will then make it an effect of it.
Good. And the status with Spain, T.Media, which you have signed off on, what happened there?
Yes, that is also why we made this quick, targeted mission, because we feel that we are too few on the product distribution. They have wanted to get started here already in April, but with everything that has been focused on here in Holland, we have not been able to direct any resources on our product distribution to make Spain start. So right now the plan is somewhere in May, the last of June, that we finish with the product development work that needs to be done so that they can come and sell. Is it extensive
work that needs to be done?
It is a bit that needs to be done, it is more that we have few resources, so it is more that we need to put the time that is needed on it.
And now we are here at the end of April, how do you see the time here in the summer? What are the biggest opportunities, the biggest challenges according to you?
As I said, Holland, we will continue to make sure that all these thousands are there as soon as possible so that they can order more and can go with more. Spain, as I said, the companies with telemedicine, they not only have Spain, they also have Portugal and then they also have France, so they have a total of 1400 pharmacies that use their dospacketing machine, which they then want to do this concept with to reach out to the consumer market. In addition, it is lower how we can get into the health care companies, that is, the corporate market, also in those countries together. And then we have VGR, so a big focus on Holland, VGR and then of course more parts of Sweden. We see that the investment is starting to come out, interest rates are starting to rise in Sweden, so there are very positive signals right now. And then together with telemedicine in Spain primarily, but then it can lead to more countries as well. So we have a lot we want to do and we will make sure to get as much as possible going on here before summer, so that we get the snow base effect going, which means that during the second half of the year we have partners who have machines that will successively get going more and more.
Yes, I understand. Good, then I thank you very much for your time.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Bye.
